As a filmmaker, Jasper is driven to find an emotional connection within each story. He captures authenticity through creative camerawork and resourceful, collaborative working style. Born in England, his family immigrated to the United States, eventually settling in Alaska. He credits this eclectic upbringing and the influence of his father, an experimental sculptor and professor, as inspiring him to find art in the everyday. The magic of filmmaking captivated Jasper from the first time he stepped onto a set. From there, he went on to study film at the University of Colorado under legendary avant-garde filmmakers Stan Brakhage and Phil Solomon. Jasper learned his trade working as a cinematographer before transiting into directing. He founded Futuristic Films in 2007 and since then his award-winning work for brands such as Marmot, Adidas, and Chobani has taken him all over the world.
