Before joining Futuristic full time, Sam was a Denver-based freelancer for eight years and managed productions for both national and international clients. It’s always hard to put someone into words, but to quote Sarah Liles, “Sam’s as good as they come, both as a human being and as a producer.” She is most passionate about productions that create community and empower the voiceless. Her favorite recent work has included a campaign for the CO Human Trafficking Council, Phamaly Theatre Company, and the remarkable stories of recovery for UCHealth. Her love of filmmaking stems from her background in creative writing as a published short story author, and a degree in film history from Chapman University. Once the day’s production fires are extinguished, you might find Sam pursuing Etsy for owl jewelry (she loves owls!), ordering a late dinner from Sushi Den, or checking flight prices to Greece.
